Some days we trudge through them doing what we have to do like a puppet going through the motions. I know I have many blessings today I just have to take the effort to focus and see them.
Today at my job I was standing a the cash register and one of the bosses came to me and asked me to pray for her father who is living in the Philippines and will be having eye surgery later this month. There was another worker in the store standing there at that time. I said I would pray for my bosses father and the other worker said she would too. I then quoted a bible verse from James "The fervent effectual prayer of a righteous man..." then I paused trying to recall the wording in the king James and the other worker finished the quote"Availiteth much." It was obvious to me at that time that the other worker loved the Lord and His Word. I rejoice to know there is a fellow believer there and look forward to fellowship in the spirit with one of his disciples.
Carolyn had the energy to go out tonight to a retirement party for one of the other teachers at the school where she teaches. I was glad, and thankful to the Lord that she was able to get out. She needed to be around people and have a little fun and just talk and enjoy their company.
Maddy has a huge project. She was not able to get much done on it because of Ballet practice after school and a dentist appointment for the six month cleaning. It was wonderful for me to see Timothy her brother coming along side to her and helping with printing the report and helping with the poster that the assignment required. He is a real Prince, and one of the blessings in our lives.
Now David has come into my room and advised me the toilet in the hall is not working. Sounds like something to do with the valve.
